The Vietnamese guitar, properly known as Guitar Phím Lõm, comes from the southern region of Vietnam and is characterized by its scalloped fingerboard.
It is used to perform traditional music Cải Lương, and is used in performance at funerals and other religious ceremonies.
The scalloped fingerboard allows for the bending of strings so as to create an expressive vibrato sound.

Absolutely.
However, we recommend that you use light gauge strings so as to be able to bend the strings as much as possible. We also recommend using special Vietnam strings, which are thinner and softer.

There are some areas where EMS delivery is not available due to COVID-19 or global conditions. In order to deliver items as inexpensively as possible, we will cover some shipping costs for shipping methods other than EMS(International TA-Q-BIN, DHL, Fedex, etc.). We ship in-stock items in 1-3 business days after the order is completed. We offer free shipping for orders over 5,500JPY. If the total value of your order is less than 5,500JPY, shipping cost is automatically calculated and charged at checkout.

We use YAMATO TORNSPORT's TA-Q-BIN to ship our guitars. We use JAPAN POST's Smart Letter to ship smaller accesories.

This item is shipped in a soft case for guitar and packed in a cardboard box of JP160 size (105x40x13cm).

*If you purchase multiple guitars, they may be packed in a different size than JP160 size to reduce the package size.

[Vietnamese Guitar Traditional Acoustic]
This item is shipped in a hard case for acoustic guitar.

[Accesories]
Strings, picks and other accessories is shipped in a special JAPAN POST’s Smart Letter envelope.

We ship in-stock items in 2-5 business days after the order is completed. We want our products to reach the world whenever possible. If you wish to purchase but cannot select your country at checkout, please contact us.

Our primary method of international shipping is JAPAN POST's EMS service. It provides international shipping with tracking at the most reasonable rate available. Delivery will take 3-8 days for most of areas worldwide. Shipping cost is automatically calculated and charged at checkout.

[International TA-Q-BIN]
For areas where EMS is not handled, or where handling has been suspended due to covid-19, you can use YAMATO TORANSPORT's International TA-Q-BIN as a second choice. It provides international shipping with tracking. In addition, we will offer a discount to the same amount as EMS, or cover a portion of the shipping costs up to 10,000JPY. Delivery will take 3-8 days for most of areas worldwide. Shipping charge is automatically calculated and added at checkout.

This service is a JAPAN POST's small packet with additional tracking service. Delivery will take 5-10 days for most of areas worldwide.

[International TA-Q-BIN]
This service is provided by YAMATO TORANSPORT. You can choose this option if you are shipping to an area where JAPAN POST’s Small Packs and International ePacket are not available. Delivery will take 5-10 days for most of areas worldwide.

2. Select the weight of items to be sent : Enter 6kg(Traditional Accoustic) or 8kg(Electric Standard)
*There will be no difference in the delivery time if you enter either weight.
3. Select the prefecture from which the item is sent : Select "Tokyo"
4. Select the country or region to which the item is addressed : Select your country and region.
5. Press the "Show the result of calculation" button to display the delivery period.
